A woman has died almost three months after she was hit by a van on the A1.

Kerry Shivers, 64, of Elm Croft, Little Paxton, in Cambridgeshire, was on foot when she was hit by a Citroen Relay on the southbound carriageway at Little Paxton, just before 21:00 BST on 18 September, police said.

She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and died on 10 December.

The driver of the van, a man in his 50s from Derbyshire, was uninjured and helped police with their inquiries.
