Wisbech Christmas trees still in place weeks after festive season

Christmas trees erected to celebrate the season in a market town are still there - weeks after the festivities.
Residents in Wisbech can still marvel at the sight of the two trees gracing their Cambridgeshire town.
Although the real tree's decorations have been removed, that tree - and an artificial one - still remain.
The town council said the weather had played a part, but added: "It took three weeks to put them up, but should take less to get them down again."
While they might not be lighting up the Fenland town, the trees have been a feature long after they would usually be removed.
Town council clerk Terry Jordan said the wet and icy weather had made the storage area impassable.
"It's been freezing, we've had high winds and it's been very wet," Mr Jordan said.
"Our storage is on agricultural land and access to that is impassable due to the rain - and then it freezes solid again and it's like a mud bath down there.
"Until the contractors can physically take them there, we have no interim storage," he added.
Meanwhile, Christmas continues for Wisbech residents and those passing through the town centre.
