Male detained near Cambridge after person spotted in lorry

A person has been placed in police protection after someone was spotted looking out the top of a lorry.

Officers pulled over an international vehicle on the M11 near Cambridge at about 06:40 GMT and found a hole in the roof of the trailer.

A male, believed to be under 18, was detained by police and investigations have begun to understand if he entered the UK illegally.

The driver is said to be assisting with police inquiries.
