M11 bus fire near Cambridge causes closure

A bus was on fire on the southbound exit slip road at junction 11 of the M11
Part of the M11 was closed after a double-decker bus caught fire.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 06:42 GMT to the exit slip road at junction 11 for Great Shelford.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary warned the road was "likely to be closed for some time and motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes".
The service said the cause of the fire was accidental and one person was treated for minor burns to their hands.
The fire was out by 07:55 and four crews attended, a spokesperson added.
National Highways said although the bus was no longer on fire, the road remained closed for "recovery and clean up" due to a diesel spillage.
