A man has been jailed after he was caught dealing drugs from his underpants.

Kashton Henry, of no fixed address, was captured on CCTV dealing drugs in Cambridge city centre.

Police said they retrieved a rucksack Henry had hidden and seized 36 wraps of cannabis, six wraps of crystal MDMA and a knife.

The 19-year-old was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.

'Suspicions'

Henry pleaded guilty to the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of class A drugs and possession of a knife in a public place.

He was arrested when CCTV operators told police that a man was exchanging items from his underwear for money on Market Street on 18 December.

He was sentenced on 23 February at At Huntingdon Law Courts.

Det Con Antonio Fernandez said: "Thanks to the suspicions raised by CCTV operators, Henry has been taken off the streets.

"We'll continue to disrupt and dismantle the activities of drug dealers who bring associated crime including violence, theft and burglary to Cambridge."
