Woman's death in Gunthorpe flat fire not suspicious - police

A woman's death in a flat fire was not suspicious and was an isolated incident, police have concluded.
Emergency services were called to the flat in Mendip Grove, Gunthorpe, in Peterborough, at 10:23 GMT on Saturday.
A woman in her 30s died at the scene. Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended.
"Our thoughts are with the family, friends and the local community following this tragic incident," said Det Supt Sherrie Nash
"A joint investigation to establish the cause of the fire concluded it was not suspicious and this was an isolated incident."
