Drink-driver in Peterborough breathalysed after hitting railings

Bodycam footage shows a drink-driver trying to explain to police what happened after he crashed into railings near his home.

Polices were called to Belsize Avenue in Woodston, Peterborough, just before 04:00 GMT on 10 March and questioned and arrested Keith Govera, 25.

Goreva, of Belsize Avenue, Woodston, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 11 March, where he admitted the offence and was disqualified from driving for three years and four months.

He was also ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.
