A 19-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with attempted murder after a stabbing outside a petrol station.
Cambridgeshire Police said a man in his 40s remained in a critical condition after the incident at the BP garage on Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge, on 5 April.
Officers and ambulance crews were called to the scene at 02:30 BST.
Ibrahim Hazell will appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court today.
Det Insp Eliot Ducket said the investigation was ongoing: "I'd appeal to anyone who has information about this incident to contact us."
