Thirty teenagers in fight in Newquay

About 30 teenagers from Cornwall and Sheffield were involved in a "large fight" in Newquay on Monday night, police said.

The incident happened in Tower Road, at about 02:00 BST. Two people were taken to Treliske Hospital with minor injuries.

Five others received treatment at the scene and police are investigating whether alcohol was involved.

Officers are analysing CCTV footage in the town.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they were on the scene within three minutes of the incident being reported.
