New foodbank in Cornwall to deal with demand

A foodbank has opened in east Cornwall after organisers said there was a "growing need" for supplies.
The service in Callington has started after the foodbank in Liskeard and Looe said it was delivering about 100kg of food to the area a week.
Health professionals and social services have been given vouchers that can be distributed to people in need in the area.
Organiser Pat Rowe said: "It's for local people in crisis."
The foodbank has been set up by the Churches Together organisation.
Ms Rowe added: "We only give out three day's worth of food at a time... the service is to tide people over their crisis."
In August, the Camborne, Pool and Redruth (CPR) Foodbank said it had provided 33 families with food in one morning, compared with fewer than 10, six months ago.
