Truro home care company closes

A company providing home care in mid-Cornwall has gone into liquidation.

Staff at All Seasons, based in Newham, Truro, have been laid off, the company is not taking phone calls, and its website is currently off-line.

All Seasons also provided supported living services for about 40 people whose care was provided by Cornwall Council.

The Council said All Seasons gave it notice of their intended closure five weeks ago.

The local authoirty said it had been working with the company in an attempt to arrange care from other agencies.

A check on the company by the Care Quality Commission in August, found that All Seasons needed to improve standards of staffing, care, treatment and support.
