Princess Anne celebrates Tamar Bridge 50th anniversary

The Princess Royal has helped mark the 50th anniversary of the Tamar Bridge on a visit to Devon and Cornwall.
Princess Anne was welcomed by the Royal Marine Band before touring the bridge and meeting with local dignitaries and construction workers.
She then moved on to unveil a plaque at Saltash Guildhall.
Work on the Tamar bridge started in July 1959 and it was then officially opened by the Queen Mother on 26 April 1962.
The Princess Royal is also due to travel to Truro to open a centre for victims of sexual offences.
As the charity's patron, Princess Anne will officially open The Willows Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Truro.
The centre, Cornwall's only 24-hour service, is for all victims of rape and serious sexual assault over the age of 16.
