Trading Standards warn of rogue traders in Cornwall
- Published
Trading Standards have warned people about an increase of suspected rogue traders in Cornwall.
Officers said they usually dealt with about 70 cases a year, but that they had seen a recent increase in incidents with summer approaching.
They said vulnerable people were often targeted for repairs and jobs such as roofing, guttering and garden work.
Cornwall Trading Standards said a warning sign was "anyone who knocks on your door when you haven't rung them".
