Two men from Cornwall have been convicted of plotting to smuggle drugs into Channings Wood Prison in Devon.
Peter Love, 26, of East Charles Street, Camborne and Richard Wilson, 46, of Paynters Lane End, Illogan, were held after a police check on their car.
Truro Crown Court heard heroin, cocaine, cannabis and oxymetholone worth more than £1,000 was found.
Love admitted conspiring to supply drugs and Wilson, who denied the same offence, was convicted by a jury.
The court heard that after the arrest in 2010 police found a letter in the vehicle and a map of Category C Channings Wood with details of how to deliver the drugs to inmates.
The pair were remanded on bail for sentencing on a date to be fixed.
