Men dressed in historical military uniform fired off volleys of musket to mark the 235th anniversary of the Battle of Jersey.
The 1781 Jersey Militia group led a march through St Helier.
They followed in the footsteps of Major Francis Peirson - a hero of the battle against the French.
The commemorative event is held annually and designed to give a graphic account of the battle which took place on 6 January 1781.
