Hayle murder investigation: Man, 74, arrested

The victim died in a property in Foundry Square

A woman found with multiple injuries at a property in Cornwall has died.

The victim was discovered at Foundry Square in Hayle at 02:00 GMT and was confirmed dead at the scene by emergency workers.

A 74-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Det Insp Stephanie Blundell said it is "currently being treated as an isolated incident" and police were not searching for anyone else linked to the death.
