Fire crews tackle gorse wildfire near St Just

Reports of flames in the area of Bartinney, St Just, were reported at 07:40

Fire crews have been tackling a large gorse fire in Cornwall.

Emergency services received reports of smoke spotted in the area of Bartinney, St Just, at 07:40 BST.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the flames were spread out over an area approximately 200m (650ft) wide.

Five crews from St Just, Penzance, St Ives, Perranporth and Helston have been sent and firefighters were working on the blaze from two fronts.
