Duchy College Future Farm uses eco friendly techniques

The Future Farm is Duchy College Cornwall's state-of-the-art facility using scientific techniques to carry out research into eco-friendly farming.

Feed to reduce methane and calculating what a cow needs to eat based on milk production are just two of the ideas being examined at the specialist agricultural college in Stoke Climsland.

The research, from cow comfort to slurry management, is being taught to students to use in their own farms in the future.
