Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have toured the grounds of the Royal Cornwall Show.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also made an unannounced visit to the agricultural event held near Wadebridge.
When questioned about the housing crisis Mr Johnson told the BBC "everyone wants to live in Cornwall."
It is the first time the show has been held in three years as it was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

Boris Johnson made an unannounced visit to the Royal Cornwall Show
When asked about the housing crisis by BBC Radio Cornwall, the prime minister said he wanted "to make sure that local people have the chance to own and to buy" in the county.
He said: "What you've got to do is make sure that local people have the chance to own and to buy, and the trouble at the moment of course is that everybody wants to live in Cornwall, and everybody wants their second homes in Cornwall."
He added: "I'm sorry to say that we've got to look at ways of differentiating and making sure that we use the tax system to support people growing up in Cornwall, so that they have a right to buy here, a right to own here as well."

Thousands of people attend the show which includes food, craft and gift stalls, tractors and cars, a funfair and livestock sections.
On Friday, the royal couple are visiting organisations that support the rural community including the Addington Fund, The Farming Community Network and Forage Aid.
