Looe Quay Road flooding: Spring tides transport delays

Bus services have been disrupted by flooding in Looe, Cornwall.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service tweeted, external that crews were "assisting with a temporary road closure on Quay Road due to flooding from high spring tides" on Thursday morning.
Other areas saw minor flooding including places along the River Fowey.
St Austell Coastguard warned people to be careful of "waves on paved areas, quaysides and jetties" that could "knock you off your feet".

No major damage was reported in the flooding
Go Cornwall Buses said services were unable to run, external in west Looe.
St Austell Coastguard said a team had performed safety patrols at about 05:30 (GMT) around Fowey, Golant and Lostwithiel.
A spokesperson said: "The team engaged with members of the public taking photos and passed on safety messages."
They issued a warning that "even the smallest of waves on paved areas, quaysides and jetties can knock you off your feet and sweep you away".
Several flood warnings, external were issued by the Environment Agency for parts of Cornwall from Wednesday evening.
