Thousands attended the Royal Cornwall Show at Wadebridge

Organisers of the 2023 Royal Cornwall Show are hoping visitor numbers will be close to last year's figure of about 120,000.

"We are confident it's been a good turnout," said a spokesperson for the three-day show which ends on Saturday.

Visitors included Environment Secretary Therese Coffey and National Farmers Union president Minette Batters.

"We are trying to keep agriculture at the heart of the show," said the spokesperson.

The show near Wadebridge has seen a record 1,300 entries for its sheep section, while sections such as horses have also expanded.
