A hospital surgeon has been convicted of three counts of rape against two women.
Salil Korambayil, 31, of Redhill, Surrey, carried out the attacks on the victims in their own homes after meeting them on social media.
The attacks took place in north Devon in 2020 and in Cornwall in 2021.
At Truro Crown Court, Korambayil had denied the charges and told police sex with the women was consensual, but was convicted on all three counts.
Korambayil had worked in hospitals in Barnstaple and Truro as a colorectal and vascular surgeon, the court heard.
During the trial, the prosecution said the doctor took advantage of both victims and "assaulted them sexually without their consent".
Judge Simon Carr said he targeted women older than him over a sustained period and exercised power over them.
He was released on bail and is due be sentenced next month.
