Boxheater to Scorrier section of A30 to be closed for weekend

The works include drainage, concreting, central reservation work and barrier construction along the new A30
Drivers are advised to avoid the A30 between Boxheater and Scorrier this weekend as the road will be closed for construction works.
The closure will start at 06:00 GMT on Saturday and last until 06:00 on Monday.
Traffic will be diverted, external via the B3285, A3075 and B3277, with different routes for HGVs.
It is part of work to transform the A30 into a dual carriageway between Chiverton and Carland Cross.
The works being completed include drainage, concreting, central reservation work and barrier construction.
Local access north and south at the new Chiverton interchange and via the B3284 at Chybucca will be maintained throughout the closure.
Drivers are urged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys during the closures.
