Rare Kray brothers items fail to sell at auction

Rare items from the Kray brothers have failed to sell at a Devon auction.
A rare photograph of all three Kray brothers taken by David Bailey and a handwritten letter from Ronnie Kray were "passed" by the auctioneer.
A guide price of £6,000 to £8,000 had been set for the lot by Bearnes, Hampton and Littlewood sale room in Exeter but bids only reached £5,000.
The handwritten letter is dated July 1988 and was written by Ronnie Kray from Broadmoor Hospital.
In it he makes enquiries about properties for sale in villages in Cornwall.
The photograph of the three Kray brothers is one of only six produced and is signed by Mr Bailey on the back with the number 84 written next to it.
The black and white picture was taken when the Kray brothers were at the height of their fame.
