A Warwickshire engineering firm is hoping its plans to expand will bring 2,000 jobs to the surrounding area.

Nuneaton-based MIRA is planning to develop areas of its 750 acre engineering, research and testing facility over the next 10 years.

Spokesman Terry Spall said the firm wanted to build a £50m engineering centre near Hinckley, Leicestershire, and to expand its technology park.

The current buildings do not present "the right image", he said.
