Boy crossing for school bus killed in Warwickshire

An 11-year-old boy died when he was hit by a car as he crossed a road to catch a school bus.
The child was crossing the A423 at a rural location between Southam and Farnborough in Warwickshire at 07:10 GMT on Thursday.
He was struck by a Ford Mondeo travelling towards Banbury.
Police said despite extensive attempts to save him, the boy was later pronounced dead at the scene.
