Police officers have renewed an appeal for information to help find a Coventry woman, missing for 20 years.

Nicola Payne was aged 18 when she was last seen walking back from her boyfriend's family home in Wood End, on 14 December 1991.

She had a six-month-old baby at the time of her disappearance.

Det Sgt Russ Cotton said police still had no clear lines of inquiry to indicate what had happened to her.

"Her family desperately want to find out what happened to her on that day.

No-one has ever been charged by police in connection with the case.

Ms Payne had taken a short cut to her parents' house half a mile away from her boyfriend's home but she never arrived.

The last reported sighting of her was leaving Winston Avenue.
