Extra 200 car parking spaces at University Hospital

An extra 200 car parking spaces are to be made available to ease traffic problems at a hospital in Coventry.

The plans are also aimed at creating "less of a bottle neck" at University Hospital.

Traffic will also be allowed to turn right at the entrance roundabout, which would connect with other car parks.

Councillor Susannah Dixon said 50 spaces would be taken from the staff car park and some waste land would be developed.
