Coventry's vintage buses on display at museum

Dozens of vintage buses have gone on show in Coventry to commemorate the centenary of the formation of the city's former transport operator.
Coventry Corporation Transport was the city's municipal bus operator until 1974 when the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive took over.
About 30 buses are on display near Coventry Transport Museum where they are housed in off-site buildings.
Many of them operated in the city or were built there by Daimler motors.
Roger Burdett, who is organising the bus exhibition on behalf of the Coventry Corporation Transport Society, said: "This is the biggest collection of heritage buses ever seen in Coventry and pays tribute to the heritage of both bus services in the city as well as the bus building industry."
