How should West Midlands mayor sell Coventry to world?
The metro mayor will be the new face of the West Midlands from next month, representing the region to the rest of the UK and the world.
They'll have responsibility for transport, housing and apprenticeships, overseeing a budget of £8bn over 30 years.
The BBC asked three people from the community of Mayor's Croft, in Coventry, how they would like their city to be portrayed by the mayor.
The six candidates vying for the role are: James Burn (Green); Pete Durnell (UKIP); Beverley Nielsen (Liberal Democrat); Sion Simon (Labour); Graham Stevenson (Communist); and Andy Street (Conservative).
