One man has died and another is in a serious condition after a stabbing in Leamington Spa.
Emergency services were called to Tachbrook Road at about 11:00 GMT.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said two men sustained serious injuries and one was confirmed dead at the scene. The second is critical in hospital.
Warwickshire Police has arrested a 33-year-old man from the town on suspicion of murder and is looking for a second suspect.
He is described as a young black man who is believed to have sustained a leg injury and was last seen at about 11:30 on Emscote Road, at the junction with Fosberry Close, in Warwick.
Police said it is believed to have been an "isolated" and "targeted" attack, with no ongoing risk to the wider public.
However, Chief Superintendent Ben Smith added there would be an increased police presence in the area. A cordon remains in place.
Anyone with information, particularly any witnesses with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area, is urged to come forward.
