Second attempted murder arrest after Nuneaton stabbing

Six people have been arrested after a double stabbing in Meadowside, Nuneaton

A second teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a double stabbing.

A 17-year-old was arrested on Tuesday. Another boy, also 17, was detained on suspicion of assault on Monday.

A 16-year-old and a man, 18, were injured in attacks on Meadowside, Nuneaton, during the early hours of Saturday.

Their injuries were described as non-life threatening and they remain in a stable condition in hospital.

An 18-year-old man was detained on suspicion of attempted murder shortly after the incident.

Three 17-year-old boys were also arrested on suspicion of assault.

Five of the six arrested have been bailed until January. The boy arrested on Tuesday remains in custody.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have urged anyone with information to get in touch.
