A popular Boxing Day duck race is set to go ahead after being cancelled last year on safety grounds.

The charity event at Abbey Fields in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, has attracted thousands of visitors during its 25 years.

But renovation work on the nearby swimming pool meant the event was cancelled in 2022.

Organiser, Kenilworth Lions, confirmed the race would return on 26 December.

Tickets to the race, involving 1,500 yellow plastic ducks, will be on sale at the town's Christmas lights switch-on and other local shops.
