One dead and four injured in Coventry crash

A 33-year-old man has died and four people have been injured in a two-car collision in Coventry, said police.

The incident happened on Firefly Road at about 22:15 GMT on Saturday, with the driver of a white Seat Leon Cupra pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, who is in his 30s was taken to hospital along with a man in his 50s and two women in their 60s who were in a blue Citroen C3.

West Midlands Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.

They appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact the force.
