Attempted murder charge after teen stabbed in Coventry park

Police are asking witnesses of the stabbing in Kitchener Road, Coventry, to come forward
A man has been charged with attempted murder after the stabbing of a teenage boy.
The 16-year-old boy was injured after being attacked in a park off Kitchener Road in Coventry on 4 February.
Ismail Hussain,19, from Coventry, who was also charged with possession of a knife, has appeared before magistrates in the city.
He was remanded to appear before Crown Court on 5 March.
West Midlands Police has urged anyone with information about the attack to get in touch with the force.
