Post-mortem test into Dale Burns' death 'inconclusive'

A post-mortem examination on a Cumbrian man who died after being Tasered by police has proved inconclusive, the police watchdog has said.

Dale Burns, 27, from Barrow, died on Tuesday night after police tried to arrest him at home on suspicion of criminal damage.

An officer discharged a Taser and another officer used a pepper spray.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
