A teenager has been arrested after reports of racist behaviour during the FA Cup fourth round tie between Carlisle United and Everton.
It was alleged "racial remarks" were directed towards players following Everton's opening goal at Brunton Park.
The 15-year-old, from Carlisle, was held on suspicion of racially aggravated harassment by words contrary to Section 4a of the Public Order Act.
He was later released on bail pending further inquiries.
Cumbria Police said it was working closely with Carlisle United to identify any other suspects.
Everton went on to beat Carlisle 3-0 in the FA Cup fourth round tie on Sunday.
