A woman has been charged with affray after the death of a 26-year-old who was found unconscious in a street.
Holly Lambert was pronounced dead in County Square in Ulverston, Cumbria, on 20 February.
The bride-to-be was described as having a "big heart" and "one of a kind" by her family, who police said were aware of developments.
The woman, 41, from Ulverston, was bailed to attend Barrow Magistrates' Court on 1 November.
Officers had arrested three people on suspicion of murder, but later told a man and a woman they faced no further action.
The other woman was also told she faced no further action on suspicion of murder, but was charged in connection with Miss Lambert's death.
"This has been a lengthy and complex investigation as detectives sought to ascertain exactly what occurred on the night of Holly's death," said Det Insp Laura Nield.
"This has resulted in the charge brought today."
Ms Nield said Miss Lambert's family had been made aware and officers remained in contact.
Her family previously said she was "the life and soul of the party, lighting up every room she walked into".
Her partner said the couple had been set to marry in August.
