A man serving a 12-year sentence for manslaughter has absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire.
Ashley Squires, 27, failed to return to HMP Sudbury over the weekend.
In 2006 he admitted the manslaughter of farmer Michael Boffey who died during the theft of a vehicle in Withybrook, Warwickshire, in August 2005.
Squires is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with short blond hair and green eyes. He has an East Anglian accent.
His last known address was in Leicester.
Mr Boffey, 61, was struck by a Land Rover at his farm moments after Squires had tried to run over another farm worker.
