Murder charges over Chaddesden flat deaths

A man has been charged with murdering two men who were found dead at a block of flats in Derby.
John David Matthews, 66, known as Dave, was found dead in his flat at Waterford Drive, Chaddesden, on 25 July.
Five days later Paul Hancock, 58, was found dead in the same building. Both men died as a result of knife wounds.
A 48-year-old man of no fixed address appeared before Derby magistrates and was remanded into custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday.
