Olympic mural to brighten up Derby city centre

A giant mural is being painted in Derby ready for the arrival of the Olympic Torch as it passes through the city on 29 June.
The artwork is being sprayed on to 250 feet (76m) of security boards in Macklin Street, erected as part of work to regenerate the St Peter's Quarter.
Young people from the charity Rathbone, a voluntary youth sector organisation, are doing the artwork.
The Derby Business Improvement District (BID) has funded the project.
The centrepiece of the mural is a gymnast holding the Olympic torch with silhouettes of Derby landmarks on the skyline.
Professional graffiti artist Darren Reynolds has been working with more than 20 young people.
He said: "It's an opportunity to convey positive messages about a local community to promote a sense of pride."
