In pictures: Giant sculptures at Chatsworth House
- Published

More than 20 sculptures have taken over the grounds of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire as part of the Beyond Limits exhibition.

The sculptures are placed in 105 acres of the gardens and have been described as "monumental and contemporary".

The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, who live at Chatsworth, have been exhibiting artwork in their gardens for more than 20 years.

Some of the sculptures, such as Cyclone Twist by Alice Aycock, stand at more than 7m (22ft) high.

This year's exhibition has seen artists use a range of materials, from traditional bronze and stone to glass fibre, steel and acrylic.

Installations include work from Thomas Heatherwick, designer of London’s Olympic cauldron.

The work of Spanish sculptor Manolo Valdés is also on display.

The exhibition runs for six weeks from 9 September until 27 October.
