Derby water road works prompt disruption warning

Motorists and businesses in Derby are being warned of months of disruption due to work on water pipes.
Severn Trent said it was spending £1.3m to replace 6km (3.7 mile) of aging pipes, external in the city centre which have become prone to bursting.
Work will start at the end of June and is due to continue until the end of April 2015.
The company said it was working with the city council to minimise problems but asked people to "bear with us".
Earlier this month, there were large queues at the Little Eaton Roundabout after a damaged water pipe was found under Alfreton Road.
Sarah-Jane O'Kayne from Severn Trent said: "Although that is indicative of why we are doing this, the actual project has been planned for months."
Work is due to begin on Harriet Street on 30 June and then on Grey Street on 7 July but will be suspended over the Christmas period.
