A man has been charged after a car collided with a police car following a pursuit in Derby.
Derbyshire Police said officers saw a Land Rover Discovery being driven dangerously at about 23:30 GMT on New Years' Eve in the Allenton area.
They followed the car to Abingdon Street where it crashed with a police car and stopped, the force said.
A man, 26, was charged with drink driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop and damaging a police car.
