A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was critically injured in a pub brawl in Derbyshire.
Police were called to the Nags Head Hotel in North Road, Clowne, just before 00:30 BST on Sunday.
Seven people were injured in the incident, officers said, with one woman still in hospital in a stable but critical condition.
The 28-year-old, from Retford in Nottinghamshire, is due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Wednesday.
Derbyshire Police said he appeared before magistrates on Tuesday.
As well as being charged with attempted murder, he also faces one count of dangerous driving.
