Owen Fairclough: Man charged with murder of man found near footpath

A man has been charged with the murder of a man found dead near a footpath.

Owen Fairclough, 21, was discovered near Risley Lane in Breaston on Friday evening. His cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Jack Towell, 21, of Castle Boulevard Nottingham, will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with murder.

Two other men, aged 21 and 30, also remain in custody after being arrested in connection with the death.

No further action is being taken against a 19-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
