Chesterfield: Four pedestrians hurt after car hits man

A male pedestrian has been left with serious injuries and three women have been hurt after a car hit the man.

A black Citroen DS3 struck a man in his 50s, who then collided with three women, at about 23:20 BST in Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, on Saturday.

The man remained in hospital receiving treatment for multiple serious injuries, not believed to be life-threatening, Derbyshire Police said.

The three women, all in their 40s, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the car was helping officers with their inquiries, the force added.

Detectives investigating the crash have appealed for dashcam or CCTV footage.
