Derby: Investigation after fire damages church building

Emergency services were called early on Monday morning

An investigation has been launched after a fire at a church in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said emergency services were called to St Osmund's Church, in London Road, at 04:20 GMT on Monday.

No-one is thought to have been injured in the blaze, but the fire caused damage to the church building, the force added.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but it is not believed to be linked to any other previous incidents.
