Watch: New kits on the block as beavers give birth

Footage of babies born to the first family of beavers in Derbyshire for 800 years has been released.

The mammals were reintroduced at Willington Wetlands, near Repton, in 2021, leading to the birth of two babies in the county for the first time since the 13th Century.

Now two more babies, called kits, have expanded the family.

The footage, released by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, shows the kits swimming, playing and feeding.
