Panto group celebrate award-winning year

A community-based pantomime group is celebrating an award-winning 60th year.

St Nicholas Players, set up to help develop amateur performers, is a dramatic society that has been performing in Derby since 1964.

The group has won awards for inclusivity and diversity from the Eagle Awards and standout performance and community spirit from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

For this year's panto, the group is performing Sleeping Beauty and the money raised will go to local charities.
